In a powerful demonstration of grassroots impact and collective vision, ‘Education for All – Phase II’ was successfully organised across more than 75 locations in May and June 2025 in Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh, reaffirming the belief that education is not a privilege but a right for all.
The events were spearheaded by faculty members of KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology), who took the movement to their own hometowns and local communities. At each location, teachers and volunteers engaged with children, parents, and youth, emphasizing the importance of universal access to quality education.
These events took many forms, like small community sessions, school visits, interactive storytelling, and group discussions with a uniform message that education is the foundation of empowerment and equality.
From rural villages in Bihar to tribal belts in Odisha, from urban slums in Kolkata to remote blocks in Chhattisgarh, Education for All – Phase II resonated with hope and purpose, lighting a spark of learning in the hearts of thousands.Attendees were also briefed about the life and mission of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the visionary founder of KIIT and KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences), who has transformed countless lives through his work in education, tribal upliftment, and humanitarian service. His philosophy of Art of Giving, which promotes selfless service and compassion without expectation, deeply inspired the local communities and students alike.
