Share to Shine
When you share what you have — your food, your time, your knowledge, your love, your effort — you do not become less. You shine from within.
A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. It only makes the room brighter.
Celebration Date
17 May 2026 A very special day for the global Art of Giving family.Year
Year 13 The 13th anniversary of a movement built on kindness and humanity. Why This Theme Matters
Share to Shine is a simple but powerful thought. It reminds us that giving does not reduce us. It enriches us, connects us, and lights up the lives of others.
What is “Share to Shine”?
It is the spirit of sharing in everyday life. Not only money, but food, time, knowledge, love, care, effort and kindness. The more we share, the more we create light around us.
Share Food
Cook an extra plate, feed someone who is hungry, or bring people together through a shared meal.
Share Time
Sit with an elder, visit someone who needs company, or give your presence where it matters most.
Share Knowledge
Teach a child, guide a student, explain a skill, or help someone move forward in life.
Share Love
Speak kindly, call an old friend, say thank you, and let people feel remembered and valued.
Share Effort
Help a neighbour, clean a space, plant a tree, volunteer, or simply lend a helping hand.
The life behind the theme
“Share to Shine” is not just a slogan. It reflects a life lived through sharing, sacrifice, service and simplicity.
From childhood hardship to building KIIT and KISS, the message remains the same: even when there is very little, one can still share with love.
That is the heart of Art of Giving — a life where giving is not an event, but a way of being.
The Five Pillars of Share to Shine
This year’s concept is built around five core values that make giving meaningful.
Hardwork
Giving has value because it comes with effort, discipline and the willingness to build something worth sharing.
Emotion
True sharing begins with feeling. It is not a transaction. It is compassion in action.
Effort
Even the smallest act matters. It is not the size of the gift, but the sincerity behind it.
Conviction
Sharing creates change when it is backed by belief, faith and the courage to keep going.
Shine
The real shine is not fame. It is the inner light that comes from making someone’s life better.
How to Celebrate
The spirit of this year’s theme is simple: share something, anything, and let that act create joy.
Share a Meal
Feed someone who is hungry, cook an extra plate, or bring people together for a shared meal.
Share Your Time
Sit with an elder, teach a child, visit someone in need, or simply be present where care is needed.
Share Your Knowledge

Share Your Effort and Love
